Hello and welcome to the Unraid August Digest. I'm your host, stefano Partita, and today we are going to have a very short episode as there isn't too too much to talk about, but there are some things worth noting nonetheless. Unraid 6.12.12 was released. However, users identified a bug where hard drives were not spinning down, so now we have a new version of Unraid available 6.12.13, that aims to fix that issue, as well as a host of other issues that were identified, and I would highly recommend actually reading through the Unraid 6.12.13 release, as there's lots of information in there discussing problems with IPVLANs versus MACVLANs keeping your Unraid plugins up to date, as they may cause issues and other nuances like that. So definitely be sure to check that out If you are experiencing issues. Maybe they could be resolved with some knowledge. The Unraid summer sale might be gone, but Unraid itself is not. And guess what? It is now 19 years old. That's right, it is Unraid's birthday, so be sure to pick up a lifetime license, not only as a gift for yourself, but for Unraid. And no, they did not pay me to say that. I totally just came up with that on the spot as I was talking to the camera Moving on.

The real focus on this video is going to be in the community content. We have a video for Space Invader 1 and TechnoTim where they discuss all things Unraid and more. Be sure to check that out if you're at all interested in hearing about that. And some other interesting content is from RJ Rinaldo, where he uses his Unraid server to actually generate media using stable diffusion and invoke AI on his server, which is pretty cool. There's also a really sweet video from Techcut who uses a TPU to get some local AI detection going on with his frigate in VR. All of that is running on Unraid, of course, so that's a really cool video. Be sure to check that one out. And there's also another video from Space Invader 1 who shows us how to master tail scale on Unraid.

And then, finally, you say Calibre. I say Calibri, it doesn't matter, it's all the same. So Alien Tech shows us how to use Calibri and manage your own self-hosted ebook data store. With that, that concludes the Unraid Digest. So be sure to like this video if you enjoyed content like this, or get subscribed to the Uncashed show, so that way, we all know that you do appreciate content like this. Thank you all and good night.
